A company from Germany specializing in vending machines dispensing gold bars and coins picked Boca Raton, Fla., as its first U.S. test market, a U.S. company says. PMX Gold, the Boca Raton company operating the machine for German company Gold to Go, said the vending machine was installed at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton after similar machines were previously installed at international locations including the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The company said the machine, which was unveiled at the mall Friday, updates its prices every 90 seconds to reflect the current market price of the precious metal.
